任何一个求学阶段的经历，都可以作为该话题的答题素材。有大学经历的考生尽量说大学经历，因为这是价值观形成的一个重要阶段 (the critical stage for the formation of values)， 内容自然会更丰富。如果考生刚刚高中毕业，可以以高中生活 (senior high school life) 中的困难 (hardship) 为例来谈自己的忍耐力 (enduring spirit) 和韧性 (sense of resilience)。如果考生有参观国外学校的经历，那也是很不错的素材。

Q1:Can you describe one of the schools you have been to? [Why/Why not?]

I have attended Beijing No.101 Middle School and it has one of the largest junior high school campuses in China. There are a few lakes and open fields for students to enjoy their leisure time. Moreover, the facilities are quite advanced compared to those of other schools, allowing students to exercise and learn in marvelous ways.

Q2:What were the good things about that school?[Why?]

There are several benefits of attending this school including the teachers, atmosphere and location. The instructors at this middle school are very enthusiastic about learning and try to instill that passion into the students. The school environment is clean and fresh as there is a lot of greenery, not to mention the fact that it is conveniently located close to my house.

I enjoy my primary school most due to the fact that it was a carefree time for my friends and me. We often played many games after school to enjoy our free time. Moreover, we didn’t have as much homework compared to senior students and had fewer worries to think about.

I clearly remember my first day of primary school when my mum accompanied me to the classroom. I was reluctant to leave my house at that time and it was a very sorrowfuloccasion. I didn’t have any expectations in my mind as a child and I was nervous to go to new surroundings.
