学习中英口译学生的部分大课会跟其它语言分支的口笔译学生一起上课。平时也可以跟这些欧洲学生联系组织多人口译练习，结对练习，开模拟会议（同传室没有授课时可供MAI和MATI学生自行练习使用）。同声传译为选修课，但是应该所有人都会选；交传比较重要，全年都有；笔译课很专业，每节课都有不同的侧重，比如广告翻译、法律翻译或是专利翻译，课后通常会有与内容相关的作业与翻译研究。毕业项目可选Project或Thesis。威敏的课程安排中也比较重视学生的实践，因此学生有机会到联合国或欧盟进行实习。另外，伦敦也有挺多国际组织，学生也有去实习的机会。
